At the latest edition of Shamba Night, it wasn’t just the music and coffee that stole the spotlight—a vibrant lineup of talented visual artists turned the rooftop into a living gallery of creativity. From bold portraiture to thought-provoking abstract pieces, the exhibition gave guests a powerful visual experience that beautifully complemented the night’s soulful sounds.
Each artist brought a unique perspective, using their work to tell stories of identity, heritage, and modern life in Rwanda. The paintings and portraits sparked conversation, connection, and admiration from guests who moved between music and canvas, coffee and creativity.

Highlights included:
- MVAKNOW – known for expressive portraits capturing the spirit of Rwandan youth.
- BRAVE TANGZ – displayed textured abstract works that explore the theme of inner healing.
- ART MUGISHA – showcased African culture-inspired paintings blending color, confidence, and culture.
“It’s rare to have a space where music and visual art speak to each other so naturally,” said one of the featured artists. “Shamba Night is more than an event—it’s a movement.”
As the night ended, canvases packed up, and the final song played, one thing was clear: the Kigali art scene is alive, growing, and ready to be seen.
